The department store I used to be able to get discount enemas at ran out of stock a couple months ago. I kept waiting and waiting for them to restock. I thought maybe the hurricane on the east coast disrupted the logistical supply or something, but still after 2 months and no resupply I finally bailed and found a really good deal (~ $0.70 per) online.
This deal was available due to the large quantity – 96 enemas in total. The box arrived today. It was fairly large and weighed 40 lb.
It was actually 4 smaller boxes inside each with 12 2-packs.
Personally I believe that enemas can be really healthy. I remember hearing that Ghandi actually would go into villages and give enemas to people. Usually one per day is nice to keep the lower intestines clean.
I don’t think enemas are bad although I’ve read that some people can obsess about them. I know there are self-enema kits also but I find it easier and more convenient to use the pre-made ones. They contain 133 mL of fluid with 19 g of monobasic sodium phosphate and 7g or dibasic sodium phosphate which are very gentle salts.
The salt in the lower intestine creates an osmotic effect drawing water through the intestinal walls, eventually causing an urge to “go”. Its usually good to have a glass of water afterwards to replenish the fluids.
